“ 靖国神社には吉田松陰や坂本龍馬、多くの烈士達、国の為に殉死した方々が眠っている。


その死者に対して感謝するのは当然ではないだろうか。


それぞれの国のやり方があるが、先人達の犠牲を敬う気持ちは、万国共通である。


全ての御霊に対し、同じ過ちを繰り返すことのない想いをこめ、死者に対して敬意を払う。


これからは過ちを犯さない、という責任を確認する事でもあるのだ。　


これなくして世界の未来の平和はない。


各国を訪問した日本の要人、また世界の心ある要人たちは、それぞれの国を支えてなくなられた方々が眠る墓地を訪れ花を手向ける。


これが各国の礼儀である。


日本には、古来から死んだ人には罪を伴わないという神道・仏教の教えがあり、慈悲としての許しの愛がある。


日本人は全ての死者に対し敬いの気持ちで対する、そういう国民性・民族性であることを是非、知っていただきたい。


手厚く葬って、安らかに眠ってほしいと労り、慈しむ優しさ、思いやりがある。


先人の生き様全てを教訓として、世界の平和と人々の幸せを願う気持ちを持ち続けている。


その気持ちを後世の子孫達に託し、委ね願うのです。


相手を思いやる愛。相手を尊敬する尊敬の念。人類が生かされている地球人としての感謝。


この３つ、愛と尊敬と感謝を忘れなければ、世界人類の平和は絶対に構築されると思うのです。
